This is a great cozy mystery that is so easy to binge-read!
Scarlett is a literary agent and has to return home to Spring Lakes because her grandma needs knee surgery. She quickly packs her things and plans to stay there for about 6 weeks. Due to being away for that long, her assistant came along to try to get work done in the meantime.
Scarlett is having a girls’ night with her childhood friends when her ex-boyfriend shows up at her door. Later that night, she goes to his hotel room to pick up her box of belongings when she finds him dead.
That’s when the story really picks up. I enjoyed trying to figure out what could have happened and who the murderer was.
This is perfect for any fan of cozy mysteries.
