Book: #resort Bliss

The Lakeview Harbor series has been a fun, emotional rollercoaster that just keeps making me smile. Book 3, Resort Bliss, is the weakest so far, but that doesn’t mean it’s bad. This was just the least interested I have been in one of the characters.
That character was the male lead, Connor. I love Connor in the other books, especially Book 2, but here he was very overbearing towards Lexi. If I’m being honest, Connor made me feel a little uncomfortable with how strong he came on so quickly, given their past.
Lexi, being down on her luck, came to Lakeview Harbor to work. She had a past with everyone and a romantic past with Connor that didn’t end well. Her only wish was not to be around Connor, and he immediately couldn’t do that.
Eventually, Connor came around for me, but for most of the book, I was not a fan. Both Lexi and Connor have a child, and their parenting was both incredible. That was the star of the book.
After finishing this one, I cannot wait for the next. I feel there are some hints that the next couple will be Milo and Nora, and I’m looking forward to that!
