Book Review: The Paris Match

Book: The Paris Match

Author: Kate Clayborn

I will start off by saying the cover is so gorgeous and eye-catching!

Layla Bailey has been telling herself that she has moved on from her divorce to her college sweetheart. She thinks she can remain friends with her ex until she gets invited to her former sister-in-law’s wedding…in Paris! Aside from Paris being one of the most romantic cities in the world, it was also where she had honeymooned with her ex. So now she has to see her ex there, who also brought a date to the wedding.

A few nights before the wedding, Layla has a harmless conversation that leaves the bride with cold feet. Layla finds herself working with the best man, Griffin, to do whatever it takes to save this wedding.

I loved Layla from the start. It takes serious confidence to attend your ex’s family wedding in a place filled with memories, and she carries herself with so much grace—even while dealing with Griffin, who is pretty rude at first.

This is a perfect second-chance romance blending romantic moments with a strong thread of self-love. This is definitely one you’ll want to devour.

The Paris Match is out now!

Final Score: 4/5
