Book Review: Dante N Ferno: Camp Catastrophe

Book: Dante N. Ferno Camp Catastrophe

Author: Brian Gordon

Thank you, NetGalley and Macmillan Audio, for an advanced audio copy.

As someone who does not like Diary of a Wimpy Kid, I wish author Brian Gordon would not say this book is similar. This is so much better. His characters are likable, and his stories are fun and entertaining.

I reviewed the first book in this series and loved it as well. I’m inclined to say again how the nerd in me just loved the fact that Dante’s best friend’s name is Virgil. This time, the duo goes to camp. I love how Dante perceived his surroundings and how he just didn’t want to be there. That’s definitely how I was as a kid at camp.

Much like the first one, this is a great story about friendship. Always be your true self, and your real friends will see you for it. Friendship can always overpower everything else. Hopefully, you have a true friend in your life to help you the way Dante and Virgil do.

Can’t wait for the next one!

Final score: 4/5
