I’ll be the first to admit that fantasy and the whole Fae craze are not my cup of tea. It’s something I want to like, and I keep trying and failing. Crowned by the Fae is a short story and a standalone prequel to the Fae-Blessed series. I thought maybe a short story would be perfect, and maybe I would be interested in a bigger series, and I was right. This story really peaked my interest.
Like I said, it’s short, but in its short runtime, I really did get some good action and heartbreak. I really loved the ending, and it left me wanting to find out more about this world. I have officially added the series proper to my TBR, and I’m actually excited to go on an adventure with some Fae. I don’t think I ever said that before.
