Julia runs a Bed and Breakfast and one day gets a text from her ex, Ethan, whom she has not spoken to for almost 10 years. He asks if he can host a celebrity matchmaking scheme for work at her bed and breakfast. Ethan knows this could be a long shot, but he has been struggling at work and decided to go to the one place that would make him feel better, and that’s being near Julia.
The tension is very high for a good chunk of the story, and we learn more of what happened as the story goes on with flashback chapters.
I was hooked from the start. I couldn’t wait to find out how it would turn out for Ethan and Julia.
This is a wonderful second-chance romance placed in a really pretty setting.
