Book Review: Falling Like Snow

Book: Falling Like Snow

Author: Misty Wilson

Thank you, Simon Teen, for an eARC!

We head back to Bramble Falls, Connecticut, in book two of the series! I read both books back to back, and by the end, I absolutely didn’t want to leave the world of Bramble Falls. It is the most perfect small town, just imagine Stars Hollow. It is the sweetest, close-knit community where everyone is so kind and welcoming.

Falling like Snow takes place in December, when the town is gearing up for all the winter events and activities, including the Falling like Snow festival. This time, we get Sloane and Asher’s story. I love the friendship they have, and you can sense that they are both developing feelings for one another.

Sloane was hoping to spend winter break in NYC, but her mom, who also happens to be the Mayor of the town, needed a lot of help getting all the events set up. So, instead of letting Sloane miss out, Asher decided to bring NYC to her. From taxi rides to their very own hockey rink, it was so thoughtful and kind.

I have to say, the grand gesture at the end will get you all teary-eyed!

I cannot wait for book three! (I am hoping for a Jakey and Fern story 🤞🏼)

This small-town YA romance series is an absolute must-read! While I definitely recommend reading the first book, this can also be read as a standalone.

If you love cozy small towns that have all the wintery feels, you have to add this to your TBR!

PS: The mention of Jordan Fisher made me squeal!

Final Score 5/5
