J.H. Markert is always a solid read and this one is no exception.

This is a captivating story that grabs you and simply never lets go. The ticking clock element is relentless and Markert builds tension masterfully across multiple perspectives. As always with Markert, this is the kind of book that sticks with you long after you close it.
